Message from the President

Dear Members,

First let me thank everyone for voting me in as your President of Fl. Chapter XXI.  I’m honored and I certainly will do the best possible job I can do as your Representative.   My goal for the 2 year term as  your President is to increase our membership within our Chapter.  I will work as diligent as I can but we have to work together as a membership.  Tomorrow’s ride will be an ideal time to start this drive for the New Year.  This ride that the Orange County Sheriff’s Office is having should be drawing a lot of LE Bike riders.  We need to show up as a group and show ourselves off.  The more the merrier.  As Bill Donnelly has already put out in an e-mail we will be meeting at our usual ride meet site on Lake Mary Blvd, for those of you who live up North.  Kickstand up and good to go by 0745 hours. You’ll ride down to the Harley Dealership off I-4 and Conroy Rd and meet up with those of us who live on the South end.  Wear your Colors and Blue knight T-Shirts if you have one and if you have a Blue Knight Helmet wear it.  Those with the Blue Helmets should be up front of the formation riding in.

Supposedly there may be some rain tomorrow.  If that’s the case, if its raining when I leave my house I will still go in my car.

I received a reply from the person who’s part of the coordination of this ride.  I had made a request to her via e-mail to allow us to have a table set up at the ride for the purpose of recruiting.  She wanted to cooperate but unfortunately someone higher than her said that there wasn’t any more room for another vender and rejected my request.

I believe that we can still set up something around our bikes.  I’m attempting to put together a Poster Board with some information about us, along with some pictures and have some applications ready. The Poster Board is big enough to draw some attention.  I asked Pete to bring at least ten shirts with him and we can offer the shirts to anyone who sign  up immediately.  We can put the shirts out for show.

That’s the deal.  Hopefully we’ll have a good turn out tomorrow, show off our bikes and see if we can impress some of our fellow Law Enforcement Brothers and/or Sisters to join our family

                                                                                                          Thank You

                                                                                                     Gil/ President Fl. Chapter XXI
